Welcome to Traed Bach Class page, the school Nursery class.
We have learnt about the names of the colours and look for different colours around the school. We have also created a colourful rainbow that now decorates our class.
We have looked at different kinds of trees and had an opportunity to look closely at the colours of the leaves in the autumn. We developed our fine manual skills through sewing leaves using wool. After collecting leaves around the school, we printed with the leaves using autumn colours. We also made puppets out of leaves to dance to music in the hall after hearing the famous first verse of T Llew Jones poem, ‘Dawns y Dail’. We and the leaves had enormous fun dancing to the song Cyw of the same name as T Llew Jones poem.
'Dan y Dail' is a good place to play with others, share and have fun. 'Dan y Dail' was built after listening to a story by Angharad Tomos with the same name. We thoroughly enjoy having picnics on the colourful pillows and also cooking delicious food. There is always a warm welcome to anybody in 'Dan y Dail' that wishes to have a chat or a cup of tea.
